Jimmy W Sidelock Joined: Jan 2002 Posts: 6,523 Likes: 162 Tree City	I have never tried it on a gun, but on other wood around the house, I have had stain mixed in with the varnish when finishing wood. If GJZ's method doesn't work, which it probably will, you might want to try that. Good luck.
