My first? A Win 24,16 ga, 26" IC/M that was given me by my uncle. Ignorance is bliss, but I learned to hunt upland game with this gun---- rabbits, squirrels, grouse, quail, and the occasional wood duck. This gun has been in my possession for 55 years and I'm almost ashamed at the amount of game it has taken in my lifetime. Worn as it is, it still commands a prominent place in my safe, along with my Smiths, Ithacas, I/J's, and Foxes. It's the only gun that I bagged 15 doves with 16 shots-- ugly as sin but it got the job done !
