when i originally looked at the shotgun before buying i was told it belong to Nick Nixon which was ok but what got me was it was supposed to have been sent to the Confederate Army and somehow survived getting turned into a sawed-off. the trade marks L L or JR wouldn't match this time line 1855 - 1880 (Leon LeClercq {LL} Jean Stassart Riga or J Rosseel {JR}) the L however cannot be tracked to a date. So curious now where do the trade marks fit in...any guess?
