I have used Watco to refresh an old Citori stock and was not impressed (more on that in a moment). I also have a BSS Sporter 20 that came to me with a Watco finish on it and it is absolutely great. The difference seems to be that the BSS was done with the old formula and the Citori was done with the reformulated enviro friendly crap that that we are forced to use in Southern California. If you can get the good stuff (just about anyplace outside CA), I like Watco for gunstocks. Admittedly a limited sample, though.
