Without a good provenance I suspect the Goring name assoiacted with that gun would not add much.Its kinda like "taken from a Nazi officer" with lugers.The stories are more often then not made up over the years.
Goring had a liking to the 9.3x74R round too,so a 7mm drilling would be a bit supect just on caliber.He did work to keep his status as a great hunter and did have many guns (paintings,wine collection....) and anything is possible but the "buy the gun not the story" is indeed the rule you should follow.especailly with WW II weapons.
