$ 1000.00 for a Hi Wall action of unknown quality is NUTS. A friend of mine a few weeks ago just bought two Hi Walls at the Allentown gun show, one was a 22 LR with a shot out and bulged barrel but decent wood and action for $ 650.00, and another one in 32-40 with an original Winchester single set trigger for 750.00. Both of course will need fixin up and re-finishin but so will one of the "new" ones. Who or why would anyone pay a
$ 1000.00 for something of unknown quality. Does anyone know the real retail price of it. If it's really a $ 1000.00 they wont be around long.

I like your signature line, for sure your a "Purveyor" of something.
Be careful guys.
