I still get quick service from Mike without any hiccups.
Mike opened the too-tight chokes in a Husky 310 and in a full choked Rem Model 31 for me a couple of weeks ago. I mailed the barrels to him on a Tuesday, I think, and had them back by the following Monday, perfectly done; they must have been done the day he recieved them.
He emailed me his very reasonable bill and when I replied immediately that I had put a check for payment in the mail, his response was that he'd already shipped the barrels back to me. I may have gotten the barrels back before he got my check.
The problems others say they are encountering are a mystery to me. I suspect the 'complaints' may just be some of Mike Orlen's satisfied customers attempting to keep his bench open to their own barrel work?...Geo
