Thanks Rob for the 3rd effort. I think I may have put the pics where I can find them now. I really don't think that Eduard Kettner made many of his examples or that he had a manufacturing facility in Suhl but rather he had a store front for the purpose of sourcing. With that said, I think the script "E.K" to be for Emil Klett and not for Eduard Kettner. I contend that the Klett klan played a large part in the tube sourcing of Suhl:

August Heinrich Klett, probably pre-WWI

Emil Klett, probably post WWI

F.A.(Friedrich August??) Klett - Alfred Hauche was a principal from WWI onward an maybe a possiblity for "A.H."

Heinrich Christoph Klett(& Söhne) post WWI Heinrich Klett & Söhne(all of Zella Saint Blasii) with the "Söhne" being Heinrich Louis Klett, another "L.K." but I think during the depression he concentrated solely on wood work.

Johann Stephan Klett(& Söhne) up till circa 1912.

note encircled "S&S" stamp forward of flats on left tube

Eduard Kettner - November 1927

Eduard Kettner post 1912-pre-1923
