I think, legal or not, there is only one individual that would post a photo of 5 dead turkeys here. Not many people are interested in others even suspecting something illegal was done. You, however, seem immune to that type of thought process, and have put the evidence of it here, on a public board, for hunters and non hunters alike to think about. Most of us learned, a long time ago, to only take what you could use in the very near future. They keep better in the woods. It seems you missed that lesson. Tell you what. You go look up the term "brace" as it applies to the quantity of wildfowl taken by a gentleman. And, to avoid the appearance of being an idiot macho gamehog scumbag of some sort, to everyone who visits here, apply that concept AT THE VERY LEAST to the photos you put up, here. I think you should apologise for putting up a tasteless photo that calls into question the legal limits of your state, giving everyone registered here the same black eye you have. It is, sadly, a black eye you don't seem to realize you have. It's a pity that someone has to explain that to you.
Best, Ted

Tart you've shown time and time again the jealousy you have for a mans guns now you've shown the jealousy you have towards a man legal bag of game.
The real "pity" is that such jealousy exists inside you. Ted you are lucky I have respect for this site or I'd tell you what I really thought of yer ..... no good ....

I don't understand. The only regs listed in the link are for TN Spring season. The birds in the pic are from a Fall hunt, and the state wasn't actually specified as TN. What's the story on the state, bag limit and season regs where this hunt took place? I'd like to learn about it.

I think you three 'know it alls' owe me an apology. Sorry, jOe; no sympathy from me over your 'false accusal'. Your picture of five dead turkeys lined up in a row was over the top. How long did it take you to breast'em out and toss the rest of the carcasses? I am glad to know that your take was within the law though; turkey hunters kind of hold each other to a high standard that way...Geo

Our fall season is two weeks in December I had 7 tags with 3 birds on each one = 21 turkeys...the dog busted one flock that morning I called in and killed a nice hen and gobbler pretty quick...a short time later I called in another gobbler...shot and knocked him down he got air borne as I was getting up to go get him. Later that day about a mile from the truck my dog started barking like hell down a ridge about 200 yards from me....when I got there he was still tearing it. I sat down called in two young gobblers in short order...then I saw a long beard....no shot......passed on another young gobbler...then killed a nice longbeard.....passed on a couple more jakes wanting another longbeard. Then the woods fell silent. I toted my 3 gobblers out to the road. Sounds easy don't it. it ain't. Here's my dog. http://trkyhntr.home.att.net/buster.html

Aha. . . fall season. How's one guy get 7, 3 bird permits? And you can fill more than one permit per day? Sounds strange, but who knows? However, with a handle like Joe's, we can be sure he's donating some of that meat to a homeless shelter.
Joe, you might do better getting apologies if anyone had ever seen you issue one. And your rude behavior, lack of knowledge etc certainly would have merited numerous apologies.

That'd be "I've seen", Joe. If you're going to criticize someone's lack of knowledge, far better to use correct English when doing so. Once again, that's a whole lot of turkey meat for the homeless folks down there in TN. I'm sure they appreciate your generosity.
