If memory serves me right, it is around 12 to 13 inches to the end of the rubber pad he put on. This is the same guy who rubbed (or used a chemical) half the case color off. I think if I can get it at the right price then I can use some wood I bought a couple of years ago and have Wenig or some other company copy and fit it. I can then finish the rest. Chuck's idea might work also if I think I can hide the joint well enough. I am pretty good with woodworking but I got rid of most of my equipment and tools.
