I think this started out to be about European gun prices, and went straight to right-wing economic and political ranting and raving. Doesn't it belong in the MisFires section? I thought that's what that section was for.

I hesitate to use the word above, but "Estoy de aquerdo." I am of accord.

Sartre said naming something changes it. We have to come to grips with it. I only put another message in plain words, without commenting one way or another. But you're right, Joe, political rants in any form should go to another place.

Brown, you just don't want to hear the truth about socialists such as yourself.

We the gun collectors did not makes politics an issue with our hobby. The socialist gun grabbers did. As I stated earlier I honestly wish we could go back to a simpler time when politics wern't a consideration in our hobby but that is unrealistic today. For those of you who either disagree with the position that we have to remain ever vigilent or lose our rights as has happened elsewhere or just plain don't care the solution is simple: Don't read these type of threads since any information provided is in your opinion useless anyway. For those of you for whatever reason state or truely believe otherwise: Socialist attempts at gun control are an intergal part of life today for gun owners NOT some type of side issue as you would have us believe. These groups are well funded and in it for the duration. Their strategy is to chip away at firearms ownership one type at a time and yes, they'll eventually get to double guns which is the primary focus here. Jim

Well said !!!
of course the "head in the sand" crowd will rant and scream to move the thread but in the end the "elephant in the room" of gun grabbing,"spread the wealth" liberals will always be on the other side of ALL gun owners and free market capitalists.
Euro will most likely go lower as the failed socialist countries leaky boats are tied to the solvent ones like Germany of course they may well leave them sink on their own.

Brown, you just don't want to hear the truth about socialists such as yourself. I'm certainly glad there's someone else named Brown here! Last time someone called me a socialist, it was the Cold War and I was working for the CIA--and our main target was the Commies. I almost choked, but security prevented me from pointing out the contradiction to the individual in question.

I'm amused, too, Larry. It would be hard to find a better example of state intervention because of the "internal contradictions of capitalism" than the United States, with Communist China holding all the chits!
