I still have the original forend iron, it was just the wood that was replaced. I like how you lengthened the stock on your B grade. What did you use for the extension?

Thanks for the photo of your $100.- Pigeon gun, it shows the ebony tip and the checkering pattern.

I think you are right that the serial number is 3 and B is the grade. When I saw the number 3 I thought "Naw, it can't be the 3rd gun made. That number must mean something else." I think what I will do is clean the dirt off the stock and see if I can locate the wood for the forend.
