jOe I have had five side by sides with single triggers. I had trouble with four of them.

Winchester Model 21 - lots of trouble

Winchester Model 21 - not a single failure

SKB 28 gauge - Had to oil the inertia block pin, then worked fine

Parker Repro 28 - one barrel wouldn't fire first.

Fox XE 12 gauge - If Left barrel first wouldn't reset to fire right barrel

The single trigger would worry me more than the rib solder.
