Hi,
I prefer epoxy over super glue. Good, slow drying epoxy is much stronger than super glue, IMO. At the suggestion of someone here, hitting the epoxy with a blast from a heat gun or strong hair drier will help it wick into the crack, almost like super glue. I'd also suggest not clamping it TOO tightly, so as to not squeeze too much of the epoxy out.
