Can the SST in aCitori be changed to DT's? Coles does a nice job of it in a Beretta, anyone do it for Browning?

Have never seen it on a Citori. Saw one BSS with a custom DT conversion.

Probably not worth the trouble.

I thought some of the early BSS had DT's?

All of the BSSs had single triggers. The earlier ones had non-selective ones and the newer had selective triggers. The Daly 500 (the more affordable version) has double triggers.

It probably would not be worth convert the triggers of a lower grade citori but maybe on a higher one. I have seen double trigger conversions on Beretta 68x guns but I am not sure of the costs.

Don't think so. The various Mirokus and Daly 500's that preceded the BSS usually had DT's, and some sellers claim those guns are the "same" as the BSS, but that is more than a stretch, since the frames and many other bits are so different.

Minor point, but I believe that the rarer BSS sidelocks had double triggers, but they were the only BSS guns with them.

Rob,

When I inherited my fathers 12 & 28 gauge Browning 425's, I asked Browning if they could convert them to double trigger. The short answer was no.

one can buy miroku, beretta,....with fixed chokes and dts for reasonable price as almost nobody wants them. FN also made some guns like that but prices are higher as some folks out there actually want them and unlike in europe they're rare on these shores.

This is true, but even though they were called BSSs, they were totally different guns than the box lock BSS.
