Chuck the problem the German gun has is not chamber length but chamber diameter. The German 16s just tend to have small diameter chambers.

Take some new MagTech brass shells and drop them in the German gun. They will fit just fine. Mark those for the gun and reload them and then fire them only in that gun.

You can lengthen those chambers to 3-1/2" and you will have the same problem.
