We use to Longline them in 40 to 100 fathoms, usually around Dog Fish (Small sharks). I've been trying to get my daughter to get some for about a year now. They were very excited where she works because she will now quite bothering them.
I carefully removed the spine, gut the fish, and wash the liver off. We then placed the liver in a jar, it would be nice to put it in the sun but we will not see it again until later this week. (the sun) I keep the jars inside during the day and put them outside at night. I do not have the scientific name of the fish but will try to find it.
