I think that M. MacIntosh is the one that concluded that the 1/2 frame Parkers were produced in the low hundreds. Why Remington introduced this new frame size is unknown to me. Mine Parker 12 Ga VHE 1/2 frame tips 7 lb. even (28" barrels, PG). It is notoriously butt heavy. Barrels´ weight is 3lb 1oz according to the stamping in the flats. My guess is that furnished with a straight grip and lighter wood would go to 6.5 pounds or less while balancing on the hinge.
