What's going on with the grip cap? Its "safety button". To shoot these guns horn "thing" has to be pressed by hand on grip.

I know that it has the Meffert grip safety, but I'm not sure what the "teat" on the grip cap might be. Maybe a lock or release?
So Geno are you saying the "teat" is a switch where one can turn it off & on?

 It must be a decocker. If I remember correctly, Meffert had some means of manipulating the lever and the trigger simultaneously on the models with the figured horn grip in order to decock. Kind Regards, Raimey rse

Actually I don't remember, but something tells me its third safety "button" position for transportation.
