Hi folks, I've been following you Gents for a number of years, decided t'was time to join. I've a question regarding one of my SXS's. A V. Bernardelli "VB Holland" I've had for a number of years and haven't been able to find out much about it. It is a two barrel set, 12 gauge, double trigger, front articulated trigger. Appears to be fancy English Walnut stock & beaver tail fore end, checkered about 30 LPI. #1 barrel (Marked as such, in a gold square 1) measures a hair under 26 3/4", #2 barrel (marked as above) measures a hair over 29". Both are marked as such. R.B. "Acciaio Speciale Extra" on top, L.B. "V. Bernardelli Gardone V.T. On left side barrel marked "Made in Italy". Receiver and locks are coin finished & 100% engraved with a "Floral"pattern. Markings on tang for safety are"Sicura". Straight grip, trigger guard 90% engraved & blued. One other little point, the teardrop at the rear of the side lock, appears to be Ebony. Thanks for any information you may have, in advance. I know pictures help but, I would need much help posting them. Maybe down the road. Thanks in advance. Martin 1940D28
