Steve - I'm no scope expert, but.... Happily used in 2009 the company ABO (USA), INC. of 14041 SW 139th Ct., Miami, FL 33186 telephone 305-859-2010 (
www.abousainc.com) and the manager is Shin. They don't shy away from "vintage" nor "german." Had a vintage German AJACK (A.JACKENKROLL) scope on an August Schuler (Suhl) 7mm Mauser fixed via their service. Hazy view inside, wasn't hitting paper at 50yds. and realized the front bell had been bent 1/4 cm. They couldn't guarantee against breaking the scope during the repair because it was badly bent, however, it went successfully and for $70 they 'cleaned; aligned; resealed; reset the objective; reticle parallax-optical center-POI; straightened the bent tube; re-treated the optical lens; repaired the separated erector lenses.' Was amazed they fixed it. PS - showed the 303brit martini to my dad today (he's 80 years young) and he's getting an itch (his single shot experience extends only to his Springfield M6 Scout)! lol
