Very French, very unique--I like it a lot. 'Way beyond my pay grade, I fear.

One reason I like it is that on the small parts of a properly scaled .410, conventional conservative scroll or rose and scroll would be pretty microscopic, hard to do well, and possibly thus even more expensive. This, even a geezer can SEE. But then I like Elsie Ideals and Ithaca 1 1/2s, too.
