I have seen 2 Springfields in the last couple months with feeding issues. The first is still an '06 and had been customized by an unknown maker and the back of the follower had been ground to allow closing on an empty mag and appeared to have other mod's. it wants to pinch the body of the case as soon as the nose gets above the feed rails. The second one is a Griffin & Howe 7mm that binds up on the last round in the mag. The difference is that this follower doesn't appear to have been modified at all - not even to allow the bolt to close on an empty magazine.
Anybody got any tips for me? I'm stumped.
