Hey fellas, first of it's a 12 bore/gauge. Second, Copper Sulphate. Basically strike up the barrels, get em nice and shiny. Right, then copper sulphate bunged/thrown into warm water..I just use ad lib but basically what it does is that it draws contrast out of the softer metal in the twist and thus the wind in the barrels. It's then really nicely setup for the browning...
Dump the barrels into the solution for about 30 minutes...then wash off and brush it out of everywhere. Make sure you wear gloves...no finger oil needed from this point on!
