Not in my end of town-I'm working off inventory.
Some of the plastic wad loads are actually stuff that isn't loaded anymore-obsolete, from gun shows and garage sales, picked up for experiments like this, or, to throw in the car in case a hunting buddy runs out of ammunition. Green and yellow boxes of Remington, tan and red boxes of Federal, red and yellow boxes of Winchester. Old, in some cases. It is all factory loaded, no handloads.
I did fire some different rounds of fresh inventory too, and got similar, dismal results. Nice, even patterns with the Eley felt wad loads, which, is the big, fat, black horsefly in the yogurt. I have one box of Aguila, it isn't new, either, and features felt wads, patterns look like the Eleys.
I should pattern some of the old stuff in other guns, maybe I'm not doing anyone a favor by giving it to them.

Best,
Ted
