BALTDBL Sidelock Joined: Feb 2010 Posts: 68 Maryland	Jack, I believe the gun is more from 1880-1890 or so. I have a very early Clark and Sneider 8 gauge top-lever and it dates to 1873 or so. The Serial N2431 appears to be a consecutive type system...where other McComas 8 ga under-levers and top levers I have researched are N2302, N2416, N2426, and N2538...etc..
