I was AMAZED at the number of marks on these two guns!
I've found the secret is getting a digital with a macro setting (my Pentax has a "flower" as the macro indicator) and it wasn't a real expensive camera, take the shots indoors near a curtained window, never use the flash as the camera can not focus if the item is dark enough to need the flash, and depress the button half-way allowing the auto-focus to really decide what to do, then slowly squeeze the rest of the way down. It can be tedious, but when you need all the details - then YOU NEED ALL THE DETAILS! And a photobucket account is only $25 a year.
