Kane County Gun Show tomorrow at Kane County fairgrounds located in St. Charles just south of Rt. 64 (North Ave.) on Randall Road. Admission is five bucks and the show usually stinks but it's all we have. I will be the dingus in the L.L. Bean forest green vest. Chopperlump

"Illinois Gun Show" sounds kind of funny to me. Kind of like "Baptist Microbrewery" or "Saudi-Arabian Girlie Bar".

Is the CADA show still alive? Do they have date scheduled at Pheasant Run?

CADA has been brought back to life by Beinfield, who bought the show last year. It's in a new hall across North Ave.from Pheasant Run and the December show attracted new exhibitors and brought back dealers who had walked away from the boring show. I just hope that Thad Scott returns.

ByZed: the sorry state of gun laws in Illinois shows the gutlessness of Illinois pols to address the real problem. You want to reduce crime? Send your troops into the bowels of Chicago and leave the rest of us old sportsmen alone. We did well before you sucked up to the votes of your constituacies. Maybe it's time for me to move to a state that remembers the U.S. Constitution and Bill of Rights. I can hardly wait for Gov. BB eyes (Blago) to get indicted and thrown from office. Chopper
