just recently purchased a j b warwood double with damascus barrels cant find any info need help thanks

Not listed in any of my reference books. Most likely Warwood was an ironmonger or perhaps a gun dealer that sold Birmingham made guns engraved with his name. A photograph of the gun and proof marks would help to confirm the manufacturing source.In some cases,the location of the business is also engraved on the rib of a gun. If this is the case with your gun,it may be possible, through the British census records to identify the nature of Warwoods business.

Warwood does not show up in any references as an American, French or Belgian maker. There was a Warwood Tool company located in Wheeling, WV around 1915.

Please post some pictures of the gun.
