Not listed in any of my reference books. Most likely Warwood was an ironmonger or perhaps a gun dealer that sold Birmingham made guns engraved with his name. A photograph of the gun and proof marks would help to confirm the manufacturing source.In some cases,the location of the business is also engraved on the rib of a gun. If this is the case with your gun,it may be possible, through the British census records to identify the nature of Warwoods business.
