Bars and kg's are close enough to each other that they are essentially interchangeable. However, when converting either to psi, you have to remember that the same method of measurement has to be used for both. Pete's conversion is correct, if the 1000 kg was measured by the piezo electric method. If done with the old lead crusher system, then there is no way of converting directly . . . although if you add 1,000 when going from a lead crusher measurement to psi as we understand it today (which is under the piezo system), you'll be pretty close.
