Family heirloom turns out to be an Ithaca Crass Grade 3. It has a poorly fitted replacement stock. I would like to replace the stock with an accurate reproduction but can't find original pics of the Grade 3 pistol grip. I bought Mr. Snyder's Ithaca Gun - Second Edition which is full of valuable info but no shots of the Grade 3 pistol grip. Other sources?

Here you go. This is the early style. You may have the later style, I don't know. Checkering pattern will be the same.

Thank you very much Mr. Snyder. The serial number is 18520. Did the grade 3 always have a pistol grip cap? Some pics for other grades show a rounded knob instead of a cap.

I never say always but the ones I have seen do. That's not to say they all do. You got what you wanted in those days. Your serial number is in the same range as this one. (and I also never say never!)
