I would like to get a few things cleared up. I listed this gun for a 85 yr old friend of mine, he bought the gun at the Baltimore Show 8-10 years age intending to sleeve it to 28ga. I have no idea how the blow out ocured. He has been tading boubles for 60 years and states that he has seen a great many more Foxes with blown barrels than any other maker, just his own observation, not a scientific study. I have recieved a question from someone who saw the listing and pictures stating that this had happened to him a few weeks ago with a CE #4 barrels, he was sure that there was no obstruction, is this meaningful or just a happening? He set the price on the gun, not me, it's a mute point anyway because someone has placed a bid. I quess that its not the 60's or 70's or 80's and elevated prices are just a fact or life and we can't change that. BTY I put the micrometer on those barrels in as many spots as I could, nothing under .030" go figure. Enough rambling. Thanks to All. Jerry
