Nial, I bought a gun from them this past summer. The gun was better than described. It was a smooth transaction. I wouldn't hesitate to buy from them again. Dave

Nial: Bill Hadfield is TOP DRAWER when it comes to gun dealers. You can take what he tells you to the bank. As Terc stated more often than not the gun will be better than described.
Best Regards, George

Good folks there. I've had several transactions with them and all have been exemplary. Highly recommended!

Bought my Arrieta from Bill at RHO. Worked a trade deal with me that I could live with and was beneficiall for him (of course!). He threw in a canvas/leather case (used) as well. Good guy. It's a nice shop on nice grounds.

I'm wrapping up a deal with them for an Arrieta and have to agree that it has been a very smooth transaction. I was lucky enough to see the gun at the Vintagers so it made it that much easier.

I bought an A & S 28-ga. from several years ago. I saw the gun at the Vintager's back when it was at Orvis in NY. I did not have all of the money on me at the show. We made a deal on the spot. I tried to give him a deposit there but he did not take it. Bill Hatfield shook my hand my hand said we had a deal. A couple of weeks later I sent the check and he sent the gun just as we agreed. I'd buy from him again anytime.

Three years ago I left a nice 1929 CHE double trap with Bill and told him what I wanted for the gun. A month later he sent me the check for what I wanted minus his modest commission. I'd do it again.
