Larry, you're slipping. Must be late where you are, so we'll cut you some slack on this one. Sig imported the LL Bean New Englander and, as Don Moody indicated, it was made by one of the Rizzinis. I'm pretty sure the Bean gun was from B. Rizzini, same as the SA5 field guns (the ones with side plates). The Sig SA3 and the SA5 Sporting (no side plates) were manufactured by I. Rizzini (F.A.I.R.). I think the second generation Sig Rizzinis were all from B. Rizzini.

Looks like CSMC has a Bean 28 availabe now with 28" bbls, weight listed at 6-3:

One good thing about owning a Ruger 28 is that I'm not even tempted by the Bean gun. A baby frame Beretta would be another story.
