Larry, you might still be slipping. In 28 ga, I have a Red Label/PG/28"; a Miroku MK70/30"; a Beretta 686 Onyx/28". Have used a friend's Merkel and Huglu. Also own an RBL 28ga/30"; an Armas Erbi 27.5" boxlock; a Parker Repro DHE/English grip/DT/28"; and a Win Mod 12 conversion gun. I shoot the Miroku the most because I shoot it best, but the Red Label is the gun I choose to carry if there is a lot of carrying involved, and I shoot it pretty well, too.

Moody can be excused because he's a Winchester guy. grin

Well, there's no accounting for taste. You'll find plenty of fans of Repro 28's and RBL 28's out there, and of course there are far fewer of either of those than RL 28's (and they cost a lot more). But you don't EVER want to sell the RL 28ga, to anyone who's shot many other 28's, based on the gun's light weight. It's light compared to RL's in 12 and 20, but it's not light compared to other break action 28's.
