Hi Steven,Just wanted to get your help with a stock finish.I refinished a Beretta 687eell that had a poly finish.I used your method outlined in your book.I use the daily products.I like the finishes i get.They really look nice.i also stained the stock with your method.My question was i didn't fill the pores as much as i would have like to.At the time i thought it was fine ,but the more i look at it the more i want to redo it.Can i just mix up some filler and put it right on top of my finish coat of tung oil ,and then start from there or am i going to have to sand the finish coats off and then refill it.Also will i have to re-stain it.
PS . Have you made any changes in the way you finish your stock.Do you still use the daily brand of products. thanks for your help.
