About 5-6 years ago, I had Gunter do the same thing to a late non-indicator field grade NID 410 that was a beater, but had ejectors and a Miller single trigger. The wood was total trash and it has 0 finish. I had bought it late 70's-early 80's out of Louisiana, where it had led a hard life and had stashed it away all those years. The results were remarkable--just like your gun. You have a beauty and Grade 3 guns are fairly rare, esp in a 20 bore. Most guys would make the jump from a Grade Two to a Grade Four. Gunter makes good use of the ICD wood that he has left. I've got a bunch of it myself, waiting for the next project that may never come. Congrats you on rehab. Shoot it in good health and Merry Xmas.
