Greg, I've seen a set or two of barrels (original) that did not fit all that well either. I'd definitely want to check that before buying. Personally, I'm not a big fan of the 20ga Repros. I find them too heavy for a 20ga. Most are right around 6 1/2 with 26" barrels. You lose some of that weight with the 16ga barrels because it's on a 20ga frame, so that's a plus for the 16ga half of the set.


I'm with Larry on this one. I had a 20 gauge, 28" Double Trigger, Pistol Grip. Gun weight 6 lbs 12 oz and felt ungodly heavy for a 20 gauge bird gun. I promptly resold it (for a bit of a profit). Was a very nicely made gun, but it sure wasn't something I wanted to carry up and down mountains.
