OP topgun Sidelock Joined: Mar 2004 Posts: 1,190 Likes: 15 Watkinsville, GA	I am researching a very unusual 16-bore Smith gun that was shipped in 1947 to Becknell and Wilkins Hardware somewhere in Texas; anyone have any information on Becknell and Wilkins? I'm trying to come up with a reason why the gun might have been returned; it was certainly not because it was defective.

To be more specific, I'm trying to learn something about the sporting goods portion of the Becknell and Wilkins operation.
