Hi,

I made a New Years resolution to clean my guns and to scrabble together whatever history I can find. I have an Ithaca 7E. I know it's serial 454439 and was made in 1928. I have seen mention of 22 7E being made but that also has been about a 7E single barrel trap gun which of course is not my side by side. So is 22 the correct quantity for all 7E? Mine has (perhaps they were all the same?) automatic ejectors, single selective gold trigger, manual safety/barrel (R-S-L) in gold) selector operated by a single slide, cocking indicators, 12 gauge, 30 barrels, 2 3/4 chambers and has "standard 7E engraving stag - ducks - eagle. I would like to find some information about the gun like the engraver. I know William McGraw did some of these but mine is not signed as I understand he signed his on the trigger guard. I would be grateful if anyone could offer any information or other avenues to pursue the information or suggest any corrections to what I think I have.

Thanks

-Rick
