A project of mine this winter will be to give this Flues a new oil stock finish. This gun will be a shooter and I hope to spend a lot of time with it in grouse/woodcock covers and cottontail thickets next season.

I'm wondering what to do with the colour case hardened, but worn, receiver? I'm not interested in having it professionally re-done, so what I'm really asking is: Leave it alone? Polish it? Other suggestions?

Thanks!
