Geo, The lefty safety buttons from the Upper Sandusky people and the unit sold by Brownell's both work in older guns. I put a Brownell's safety in my 1957 model 37 with no problem. No problem, except, it is a funky gray color, and the gun is blue. Thanks Ted, that's good to know. I tried to switch a safety from a late model 37 to an older one, and though it fit, the configuration of the back of the trigger was enough different that the replacement would not work...Geo

Just a word to the wise, serial numbers prior to 37850000 usually don't interchange bbls very easily. I think Walter will likely comment on this as well

Its 855000. And they likely don't interchange at all.

John, You have a classic! Enjoy. But be aware, one leads to another. You have been warned.

Walter, don't all 37's serial number begin with "37"? Also might you have a forearm for a 20ga 37R? I would like to find one of the checkered variety

Steve, check with the Upper Sandusky people-they sold me a complete set for my King's Ferry 12 for less than $250, if memory serves. Checkered, finished custom LOP, and the entire pump handle, not just the wood.
Best, Ted
