Well, I own three classic 12 gauges, a custom Fox that was born as a ejector Sterlingworth in 1913, a Parker VH made in 1900 and an early Fox pin gun. However, in the past three or so years, I've bought five 16 gauge and two 20 gauge classic guns.

Don't believe I'm unusual for those who tend to hunt more Grouse/Woodcock then anything bigger. Yesterday I hunted in Virginia's National Forests and climbed those mountains for 2 hours. I was very happy to only be lugging a 5 lb 12 oz Fox SW 20 gauge then something bigger and heavier. Even that Fox felt like it weighted ten pounds by the time I was done. Lighter is indeed better when you start having less tread on the tires.
