The advantage in living in the time zone I do. By the time I got myself out of bed the war is over, or at least I hope so.

When I read the first post a few alarm bells were going off by the second post I was sure that this was a regular member with a new name.

The more times I read the post I had a theory (you know how my theorys go;-) ) by then on who it was and did some digging. I was a little confused by the Montana reference but even that fell into place.

If the nastiness continues I'll revisit this subject.

I assure you Mr. Petrov may be quite outstanding with his research of Prewar sporters but if he thinks I am a prior member he is sadly mistaken.I certainly know current active members and fraternize with current active members but the words printed under my name are mine,a new(albeit unwelcome)member and mine alone.If Mr. Petrov wishes to reveal my identity I suggest he be prepared to apologize to anyone besides myself.As far as I am concerned my time here has shown that friendly discourse that doesn't agree with the ruling party line is not tolerated.I will continue to read the mutual admiration society newsletter and glean whatever technical knowledge falls through the cracks.In closing I'll also keep an eye open for you Steve,at the Chop House in Livingston.I'll be happy to give you the satisfaction you so strongly request.I don't believe I have anything to worry about,especially from a man or a feminist that uses all 3 names. Sounds like you're getting ready to commit a premeditated assault. Since you've said this on an open forum I would strongly advise to reconsider, if that is your intent.Physical altercations sometimes lead to unconsidered consequences such as death or maiming which can lead to prison time an/or large lawsuits.

Yes,let's not live up to the stereotypical gun owner as portrayed in the media.It's all about the appreciation and possible acquisition of finely crafted firearms and accessories and not about personalities.One of the local guys is a first class pr--- but he knows how to leave his everyday persona at home when at a gun show and really knows Winchester antique rifles and has quite a few to show. I think he has learned that you draw more flies with sugar than with vinegar.Sells rifles and he has picked up a couple of good ones from walk-ins.

Jeez, and to think my question led to this....

I'm still looking forward to the pictures regardless.
