Monty, Perazzi is not going to start make S X S sidelocks they are on offer for decades.

Yes, a freind at our club has ordered one and says delivery is this spring. It will feature a detachable trigger. He is a pigeon shooter, He said it is a limited run.

They once offered a sxs years ago, the DHO I believe was its designation. This may be a newer version. As I recall, the DHO was a $30,000 gun when one came up for sale; very few made.

A DHO sold from Cabelas about 6-7 yrs ago. Seems like it was listed at $6500 ish. Soon as it sold, values being talked about here were at least twice that.

Cyril Adams bought oneused, short skeet barrels I believe, from somewhere and because it was a monoblock he was going to have it rebarrelled as a pigeon gun

I would not make fun of Italian stuff. The English started making 8+lb O/U 'Tall Pheasant' guns because they were loosing market to Perazzi. Best shell now is paper cased affair with felt wad and soft lead shot. Next thing they will tell us is that best cartridges can be found in packs 100 at Walmart!

I've heard that Giacomo's had deposits on eight to ten new orders for them. This is pure hearsay, not from the "horses mouth" in any way, but I understood the price to be in the $12,500 range.
