By any chance would you have a photo that includes the entire rib on the first of the two rifles? I'm putting ideas together for a Cadet in either .30-30 or 7x30 Waters and want to scope it.

Rem, I'm not Michael but here's one anyway (grin), still in process.
Please notice 2 things about the rib on this one: firstly it's extremely simple and so is not necessarily suitable for an ornate or heavily embellished rifle such as Bob's, and secondly it's less than half as tall & heavy-looking as Bob's. IMO the rib on the top rifle would look even better if it was half as tall.
BTW the rings shown in my photo are Medium height and the cartridge uses the 357 Maximum case. For the 30-30 size case with the same low rib I use High rings with no trouble, plenty of room underneath for case clearance.
