Gentlemen,
Today I returned my Registered Firearms Dealers Certificate to Hertfordshire police. I have written to Companies House to resign as a Director of Henry Atkin Gunmakers Ltd (T/A Atkin, Grant & Lang). I have instructed the accountants to remove my name as the sole shareholder in Henry Atkin Gunmakers Ltd.
The sale of the company was not completed by the vendor by the deadline set. Therefore, I and my backers had to withdrew from the deal. I will not go into more details, as I'm sure all of you with a business background will understand.
As of today, Atkin Grant & Lang have no license to trade as firearms dealers, the doors are closed and trading has ceased.
I have reverted to my RFD with the Metropolitan Police and will continue to trade as Vintage Guns. It has been a sad setback but we regroup and move on.
