OP Ballistix999 Sidelock Joined: Jul 2010 Posts: 1,284 UK	Hi guys, I use a checkering guy that has been doing it for 40 years, amazing, hand craftsman...from the Birmingham gun trade, lovely bloke. I use a combination of gunstock oils based on boiled linseed oil and then often just a few very careful coats last of tru-oil...very thin and delicately rubbed back each time to get a really smooth finish...
