This morning and I picked up 4 old double's ,the first a J.Manton (Belgian copy ) 10 gauge, junk just fit for part's but it had a nice un -engraved stock sheild that I wanted, the second an Astra 16 gauge ,missing complete forend, dented barrel's rough shape so again a part's gun....now the third was again rough shape and marked as Hudson Bay Company,it's missing the complete forend as well ,overall very poor condition...but the gun was undoubtedbly beautiful in it's day so I'm interested in any info you guy's have.

Now the fourth I'm interested in restoreing ,a monumental task to say the least it's a G.Willis hammergun in 12 bore ,the nice scroll engraving is very much intact ,the damascus barrel'd look quite salvageable and the top rib is marked G.Willis Price Street st.( cant tell right now )Birmingham, with also engraved in an oval over the breach area of the rib "Triple Wedge Fast Bolt" it's missing the buttstock and various other small issue's but nothing I can't accomplish...so any info on this one would be greatly appreciated as well.
Thank's in advance for any help.
Chris

AHHH!!! to hell with it....I found a small hole in the barrel's of the G.Willis about 10 inch's back from the muzzle,it couldent be seen at first with the copius amount of grime, and it was'nt expected as the barrel's to the naked eye are quite thick ....but not a total loss ,maybe I could try and sleeve them
